A letter from Charles

Jewellery has been in my blood since childhood, my father was in the trade and growing up I was captivated by the craftsmanship and timeless beauty. That early fascination became my lifelong passion.

Over the years, I’ve not only designed but also collected, from vintage Cartier to antique treasures found on my travels. I believe great jewellery tells a story, one that speaks to both heritage and personal style.

My collections reflect this: quietly luxurious, thoughtfully crafted, and made for those who value elegance, detail, and meaning. Each piece is a continuation of my own journey, rooted in British tradition, shaped by global experience, and designed for discerning collectors.

Warmly,

Designer History

Charles Goode was born with an instinct for beauty and detail. From a young age, he travelled extensively with his family, visiting auction houses, markets, and private collections, not just in London but around the world. These early experiences laid the foundation for his design sensibility and sharpened his eye for quality, rarity, and craftsmanship.

Over the years, Charles has developed a deep and nuanced understanding of jewellery history, with particular expertise in Georgian, Victorian, and twentieth-century design. He has studied the evolution of style across centuries, with a strong focus on the twentieth century. Drawing inspiration from decorative movements, cultural icons, and master jewellers.

Signature Style

Charles is both a designer and a specialist in curating exceptional vintage and antique private collections. His private collections reflect a thoughtful blend of original design and carefully acquired one-of-a-kind items. He is regularly commissioned to create bespoke pieces for clients around the world, including members of royal families and is known for curating jewellery that is deeply personal, enduring, and often generational.

Each piece Charles works on, whether newly designed or carefully sourced, carries a sense of purpose, heritage, and individuality. His work is unmistakably debonair and undeniably unique.
